After an amazing performance this evening, captain Cesc Fabregas who netted 2 brilliant goals today spoke to ESPN after the game. He spoke on how good we played and how pleased he was after the victory, but told us that we shouldn’t get carried away.
“Well we wanted to win, for us this is a good start but let’s face it we are not going to win 6-1 every day,” explained Fabregas.
“It’s just one more game we are not going to get too carried away with this result, it’s not normal, we had a good game, but six goals is good for the team.”
He also mentioned that the departure of Toure and Adebayor to Man City hasn’t effected Arsenal, and that their non-existance wasn’t missed.
“They are great players but they had problems,” added the midfielder.
“They didn’t really want to continue at Arsenal so it was the best thing for them to do and for us as well because we want players who are committed and want to be together for the season.”
Do you agree with his words? Should we not get carried away? Of course us fans are happy, but we shouldn’t boast too much and jinx the team. Let’s all relax and enjoy with what’s to come.
Hopefully we can keep up a good run in the league, also qualifying nicely this Tuesday (Champions League).

I know someone who gets a bit of info out of Arsenal and he told me that ages ago. I was also told that Eboue was part of a trio of friends with Ade and Kolo but he doesn’t want to leave. I hope he stays but you never know!
It was a good thing to sell players that were not committed because of the affect in the dressing room. Hopefully, today’s result is an indication of a harmonious squad, now the disruption has gone.
