After having a wonderful game against Standard Liege at the Emirates, Denilson believes that his side is ready to take the challenge of the League leaders, Chelsea, on Sunday.
The Brazilian scored a scintillating goal in the Champions League fixture and is now all set to again repeat his feat against the Blues at the Emirates Stadium.
Denilson said, “Arsene Wenger wanted me to have more shots on the goal, which I did on that night. And the result was quite satisfying for me.”
“That Champions League game was important for us and now since we are through, our attention has moved to one of the biggest games of the season for us, against Chelsea.”
Meanwhile, former Gunners star, Nicolas Anelka, commented that he would be even more happy to win the Premier League trophy for the Blues than what he was when he won it for the Gunners, 11 years ago.
French Striker said, “Winning it with Chelsea would be even bigger than what it was with Arsenal. Even though the team, which I played for, had some of the greats of that era, but this Chelsea side is better.”
Such comments may not bring kind response from the Gunners fans, when Chelsea pays a visit at the Emirates. However, there is no doubt that people should not let such comments affect them and get ready to be a part of one of the best games in the season to date.
