Felipe Melo has ended his speculation with a move to Arsenal. It was known that the Brazilian would decide on his future after the Confederations Cup came to an end.
The The 25-year-old Fiorentina midfielder has extended his contract for another year. Talk with his agent had been made and a decision was placed for him to stay.
”Fiorentina announces that its sporting director Pantaleo Corvino met in Milan with Felipe Melo’s agent and an agreement was reached to extend the player’s contract until 2013 with a buy-out clause also included,”
So the question now remains, who will we buy? Honestly speaking, there’s no way we can stick with Denilson another season if we’re to battle for silverware.
We need someone solid who can do the job as a holding mid-fielder. Someone by the likes of Vieira or Flamini. Please reply and suggest who we should bring in.

Loric Cana proberly the most likely option, but with the board boosting profits, why not make a bid for Yaya Toure ?
