Jose Antonio Reyes, Former Arsenal Attacker, has no doubt that his fellow countrymen, Cesc Fabregas, is not going to leave the Gunners in the near future.
Since his arrival at a very young age from the Nou Camp, there has been links of the midfielder going back to Barcelona on a number of occasions. Barcelona’s President, Joan Laporta, has openly showed his desire of bringing the Gunners Captain to Spain.
Reyes, who currently plays for the Spanish side Athletico Madrid, said to the Sunday Mirror, “People see the move of Fabregas to Spain as almost certain. However, from where I see it, he is not going to leave the North London Club today or in the coming future.”
“He currently heads one of the most talented sides in Europe. This is why I believe that he may not give the thought of having a change, especially at this stage when the game play in Premier League is at the highest.”
Speaking about Arsenal, the 26-year old said, “The club is going through a title drought, but I am sure that the days of Gunners dominance will be back soon.”
“They are led by Arsene Wenger, the best manager in the game today after Sir Alex Ferguson. You only need to give them sometime before they bring back their glory days again.”
