Arsenal Football Club is delighted to announce that Jack Wilshere has signed a new long-term contract with the Club.

I was very delighted to see that Jack has signed a long term contract with Arsenal. This is a player with many up and coming years to show such great talent. Many older people like to refer him as the new Liam Brady for his style of football.

He is an exceptional player with a spark which stands out from most players. As said about Ramsey yesterday, Jack Wilshere will be another one from the youth ranks that will break into the first team within a couple of years.

I don’t think anyone would care to argue on that!
